Legal disclaimer
A compass, not counsel.

No legal advice or representation
This website provides general legal information, organizational tools, and links to third-party resources. It is not a law firm, legal-aid provider, court, government office, or lawyer-referral service. Use of the website does not create an attorney-client relationship, fiduciary relationship, confidential relationship, or duty of representation.
No prediction or case evaluation
The website cannot determine your legal rights, assess evidence, calculate every deadline, interpret a judge’s order, select a litigation strategy, guarantee eligibility, or predict an outcome. Laws and procedures depend on facts, jurisdiction, court, timing, and later legal changes.
Deadlines and emergencies
Do not rely on the website to preserve a filing deadline, appeal deadline, response date, hearing date, limitation period, or emergency remedy. Read every court paper, confirm the docket and rules with the responsible court, and seek qualified legal help promptly.
Call 911 for immediate danger. Call or text 988 for a suicide or mental-health crisis. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233 or text START to 88788. Arkansas’s Child Abuse Hotline is 1-800-482-5964.
Navigator Suite limitations
The “What happened?” classifier uses keywords and structured pathways. It may select the wrong issue, miss a second issue, or omit an exception. The court finder provides a likely starting point based on county and general case type; only the court and governing law determine jurisdiction and venue.
The deadline calculator performs date arithmetic from a selected general rule. It does not determine whether a deadline applies, when service was legally complete, whether weekends or holidays are excluded, whether an extension exists, or whether another statute, rule, order, local practice, or notice controls. Treat every result as an estimate requiring verification.
The benefits screener does not make an eligibility determination. The complaint navigator does not decide whether misconduct occurred or whether the selected office has authority over every aspect of a dispute. The appeal navigator is not a substitute for reviewing the actual decision, notice, record, and governing appeal rule.
Private workspace limitations
The case organizer and FOIA tracker are browser-local organizational tools. They do not create legal privilege, preserve evidence automatically, file anything, serve anyone, calculate completeness, or back themselves up. A device failure, browser reset, storage cleanup, or use of a different browser can make locally stored information unavailable.
Resource database and cross-reference limitations
The searchable database summarizes and indexes supplied reports, cited authorities, agencies, programs, and public resources. A source page locator shows where an entry was derived; it does not certify that the source is current, complete, legally controlling, or applicable to a particular case. Cross-references show a stored relationship or shared indexed topic. They do not prove legal causation, eligibility, liability, error, or entitlement to a remedy.
AI limitations
The AI resource guide and guided mode may misunderstand facts, omit an important issue, return outdated information, or make an error. AI output must be checked against current official sources and, when appropriate, a qualified Arkansas attorney. Do not provide confidential, identifying, or incriminating information.
Document-generator limitations
Generated documents are drafts based solely on user entries. They may not comply with Arkansas law, Arkansas Rules of Civil Procedure, Arkansas Rules of Criminal Procedure, court administrative orders, local practice, formatting requirements, verification language, service rules, filing fees, evidentiary rules, or a judge’s order. Use an official Arkansas Judiciary form when one exists and have filing documents reviewed before submission.
Community content
Anonymous posts are submitted by members of the public. They are not verified facts, legal opinions, attorney communications, or endorsements. Do not use a community post as authority, evidence, or a substitute for professional advice.
External resources
Links are provided for convenience. The website does not control the content, availability, accessibility, security, eligibility criteria, intake capacity, fees, forms, or decisions of a court, agency, nonprofit, professional association, hotline, payment provider, or other external site.
Independent project
Arkansas Legal Resource Navigator is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the State of Arkansas, Arkansas Judiciary, Arkansas Bar Association, Legal Aid of Arkansas, or any other listed organization unless the site owner later obtains and clearly states such authorization.
